MEP

TTE’s Projects division was appointed by the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation as the full scale MEP contractor for the G+1 floor residential 78 Villas community located at Umm Suqeim First, Dubai. With the entire MEP construction done using precast panels, the scope of work for this project ranged from the design, supply and installation, to the testing and commissioning of VRF outdoor units, ERV units, FAHU installations, solar water heaters, booster pumps, plant rooms, as well as centralized LPG system and the firefighting system. The DEWA certified team at TTE also undertook the task of electrical installations and connections for incoming and feeder pillars via DEWA pocket substations along with the complete installation of metre cabinets on site.
A 15-month project, the team experienced various engineering and manpower challenges owing to the COVID pandemic. There were instances when the project was at its peak stage and the various restrictions hindered the process of arranging materials and manpower on site. However, despite the difficulties, the team skillfully overcame the time lost by completing the entire testing and commissioning process in a record period of 30 days, thus managing to handover the project within the designated time period.
